ADMINISTRATION AND ORGANIZATION SCIENCE
The Bachelor’s Degree Course in Administration and Organization Sciences aims at providing the socio-political knowledge needed to understand and to evaluate critically the social, economic and business phenomena. Graduates should be able to operate in both national and international contexts, either in public bodies or in private organizations.
The course aims at providing students with the relevant professional skills needed for the management of traditional administrative, statistical and regulatory services as well as the acquisition of the organizational and managerial functions - such as demoscopic studies and project management - that are currently influencing both the private and the public sector.
The degree course offers three curricula, so that students can choose to specialize in one of the three areas of expertise: Labour Consultant, Public Management and International Public Management.
The Bachelor Course in Administration and Organization Sciences integrates various disciplines such as Law, Economics, Business Organization, Politics and Sociology, in order to provide multidisciplinary skills to understand the rules of both public and private management.
We offer a professional training aimed at encouraging the learning of the functioning of Public Administrations, as well as of their organizational and managerial innovations, mainly related to the internationalization of the public sector and the introduction of information systems.
The purpose of the Degree Course is thus multivariate: on the one hand it will provide the students with an adequate know-how on the governance of Public Administration and a deep understanding of the mechanisms that rule the relation between Public Bodies and local society: on the other hand it will train them to comprehend the dynamic of human resources management and organization.
Labour markets are in constant demand of experts in personnel management and work organization. In order to meet this demand we provide a highly specialized Curriculum in Labour Law, aimed at educating labour consultants. Besides, the traditional political syllabus aimed at training Public Servants has been developed into two innovative branches: Public Management and International Public Management.
