PUBLIC LAW INSTITUTIONS
The course aims to provide students with the knowledge of the Italian institutional system, the mechanisms of production of legal rules and the impact of public policies on the economy system. It also aims to develop the student's ability to relate the structure and functioning of national institutions with the European social and economic reality.
First and second Modules: Society and law - The State - Forms of State - Forms of Government – The Republic and the European Union - The Italian legal system - The sources of law - The Republic and its institutions (electoral body, Parliament, President of the Republic, Government, Judiciary, Regions, Constitutional Court) - Constitutional rights and duties. Third Module: Public intervention in the economy system.
First and second modules: Bilancia – De Marco, L’ ordinamento della Repubblica, Cedam, 2015
Third module: Essays published in legal journals and loaded by the teacher on the Moodle platform.
