Course description

To develop applying knowledge and understanding of organizational behaviour, coordination mechanisms and organizational forms focusing on organizational dynamics typical of processes involving individuals or organizations from different countries.

Knowledge and understanding: The student should be able to understand the basic concepts of organization, with peculiar reference to organizational behaviour, coordination mechanisms, and forms of organization.
Applying knowledge and understanding: The student should be able to apply the acquired knowledge to organizational diagnosis and design.

Making judgments: The student should be able to use autonomously the acquired knowledge solving specific issues, such as the analysis of organizational issues and the identification of more suitable coordination mechanisms and organizational forms.

Communication: the student is expected to give clear and in-depth answers to the questions of the written exam and oral exam.

Lifelong learning skills: the student should be able to show a good learning ability, by widening, for example, his/her knowledge with use of relevant bibliographic references. The student will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge gained in previous courses integrating them with the additional professional skills that characterize the course.

Learning assessment

Students knowledge and understanding of the course content will be assessed using both a written and an oral exam. The written in class exam consists in three open ended questions to be answered in 40 minutes. Those who pass the written exam with at least 9 points out of 15 access to the oral part of the exam.
Classes are in Italian but the exam may be taken in English.
