Learning Objectives: The aim of this course is to provide students a solid preparation for acquiring skills and competences for understanding and analyzing problems and questions related to building the relationship between the individuals and the organizations and to strategic and operational choices and options for strategically managing human resources within public administration with particular attention to organizations trade union’ and negotiation processes and dynamics and to organizational behaviours.
Expected learning outcomes Knowledge and understanding: The student will demonstrate to know about the dynamics of functioning with renard to the relationship between individuals and organizations, identifying human resource management policies that contribute to sustain human re source value cycle, the main questions and problems concerning human resource management in public administration with regards to organizational and behavioural dynamics.
Applying Knowledge and understanding: The student will demonstrate to know how to apply the knowledge acquired in the theoretical part in order to face and solve questions regarding human resource management and to identify the main questions regarding the organizational behaviours within public administration by analyzing study cases and exercises.
Making judgments: The student will demonstrate awareness and ability to elaborate an own vision with regard to human resource management questions and policies and, in particular, with regards to processes contract management, negotiation between trade unions, public administration and management by proposing satisfying solutions for solving problems.
Communication: students will demonstrate the ability to acquire a technical vocabulary coherent with themes and topics of human resource management and communicate in a clear and appropriate way in specific contexts, with regards to management of internal relations and communication value and brand oriented, with regards to dialogue and relationship with trade unions.
Lifelong learning skills: The student must demonstrate a good capacity of learning and application related to dynamics and questions concerning human resource management, to knowledge about practical case studies, and communicative functions, to study, by autonomous thought, themes and questions in university and post-university training and study.
