The aim is to develop knowledge on ways to work and interact by using the new information and communication technologies (ICTs), as well as their impacts on individual, group and organization. The focus is to encourage the understanding of the critical organizational issues arising from the ICTs usage and the possible ways enabling organization to resolve them.
Knowledge and understanding: The student should be able to understand the basic concepts of the ICTs in organization, with peculiar reference to the adoption of ICTs, as well as their effects on users and organizations, and new ways to work and interact with them.
Applying knowledge and understanding: The student should be able to apply the acquired knowledge to organizations that are engaged in the ICTs adoption choices and in their processes of implementation.
Making judgments: The student should be able to use autonomously the acquired knowledge solving specific issues, such as the analysis of organizational issues arising from the ICTs adoption and the identification of more suitable organizational forms and HRM polities for assisting employees in combining personal and work responsibilities.
Communication: the student is expected to give clear and in-depth answers to the questions of the written exam and oral exam.
Lifelong learning skills: the student should be able to show a good learning ability, by widening, for example, his/her knowledge with use of relevant bibliographic references. The student will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge gained in previous courses integrating them with the additional professional skills that characterize the course.
