The purpose of the course is to develop knowledge and capabilities to natural environment effect on business management, at both strategical and operative level.
Knowledge and understanding
Students should know and understand the impact of green management on business’s functional organizational structures, business performances and firms’ competitive advantage. Moreover, students should know and understand the main features of green innovation, green business models and green marketing.
Applying knowledge and understanding
Students should demonstrate to know and understand the new managerial approaches and concepts such as green innovation, clean tech, design for sustainability, sustainable supply chain, new sustainable business models.
Making judgments
At the end of the course, students need to develop the ability to interpret and critic theoretical models, and to decide the models and techniques, which are more useful in specific situations.
Thanks to final project works and case studies analysis, students will develop the capability to work as a team and to develop, independently, possible strategic and tactical solutions to green strategy implementation
Communication skills
Students need to be able to answer in a precise and reasoned way to the questions posed during the written and the oral exam, using appropriate terminology.
Thanks to the final project works, students will develop the capability to present a Power point presentation, explain and motivate their analysis with synthesis.
Students are invited to work in English, in order to improve also their languages skills.
Lifelong learning skills
In order to pass the exam, students need to demonstrate their capability to learn the different topics, and to discuss them also considering different and independently bibliographical resources.
At the end of the course, students should be able to apply previous knowledge on specific case studies in order to improve the interdisciplinary connection among different topics.
