Course description

Understand the difference between strategy and mode. Learn the key-aspects of the market analysis. Develop the knowledge necessary to choose the right entry mode. Understand the main challenges of international marketing. Becoming familiar with the concept of cultural competence.

Prerequisites

None. If students have already studied business management, they can better afford this course.

Syllabus

The internationalization process: definition of the strategic aims, market analysis, entry choices, international marketing, the effects of culture on the entry process.

Frontal lessons, readings and discussions.

Learning assessment

Students learning is evaluated through the presentation of the project works they prepare. In addition, they will pass an oral exam on the topics that they have not covered in the projects.
