Course description

Knoledge of main institutes of social secutity law.
Ability to analyze the main siacial security bdynamics.
Ability to critically examine the issues of social security law.
Technical language of social security law.

Syllabus

The historical evolution of social security. The legal system of social security. The contributory relationship.
The protection against accidents at work and occupational diseases. The protection for invalidity, old age and survivors. The protection of health. The protection against unemployment and the allowances for the family. The measures to combat poverty and social marginality.
The complementary pensions.

Teaching Methods

Frontal lessons. Examination of normative and jurisprudential texts.

Learning assessment

The score of the exam consists of a vote expressed in thirtieths. In order to pass the exam, thus reporting a grade not lower than 18/30, the student must demonstrate that he has acquired sufficient knowledge of the topics covered by the program. To achieve a score of 30/30 cum laude, the student must instead demonstrate that he has acquired excellent knowledge of all the topics covered during the course, to be able to critically analyze the issues underlying the topics in question and to have full mastery of technical language.
