Course description

Developing and applying knowledge and understanding of organizational behaviour of people at work, of coordination mechanisms and questions of micro and macro organizational design.
Knowledge and understanding skills: the student should be able to understand the basic concepts of organization paying attention to rights, resources of the organizational actors, interaction between actors, coordination mechanisms and organisational design dimensions.
Applying knowledge and understanding: the student should be able to apply the acquired knowledge to analysing the relationships between actors, sources, organisational design dimensions and coordination organizational to define some hypotheses of organisational design and think how to analyse and make a diagnosis of emerging problems from potential micro and macro organisational structures and design.
Making judgments: the student should be able to develop critical skills to use autonomously the acquired knowledge solving specific issues, such as the analysis of organizational issues and the identification of more suitable coordination mechanisms and organizational forms.
Communication: the student is expected to provide coherent answers to questions about the organisational actor, its rights and sources, coordination mechanisms and variable of organisational design to give clear and in-depth answer to the questions of the written exam and oral exam.
Lifelong learning skills: the student should be able to show a good learning ability, by widening, for example, his/her knowledge with use of relevant bibliographic references. The student will have the opportunity to apply the knowledge gained in previous courses integrating them with the additional professional skills that characterize the course.

Prerequisites

It is necessary to have acquired and assorbed core knowledge provide by the course of business administration (economia aziendale)

Learning assessment

The aim of the exam is to check that the student has achieved the training and learning objectives.
The exam comprises: a written exam (Max 15 points) for 3 open question (30 minutes to solve)!

Only the students that have 9 as a score accede to the oral exam as documented in the Module II Cfu3

The final assessment is the result of a synthetic evaluation of two trials.

In continuing the health emergency phase by Sars-Cov-2, 2019-nCov, Covid-19, the exam is online, at distance on MSTeams Platform. The exam is articulated in 6 open questions (Max 5 points for each question).

Since 2020 December,
with regards to Covid-19 Pandemic national health emergency and coherently with Ateneum's regulations, the exam is ONLINE as follows:
1 written question on MOODLE ELEARNING platform
5 oral questions on MSTEAMS platform
