AGONISM AND EDUCATION IN ADOLESCENCE
The course aims at developing educational professionalism in sports and physical education that take in the foreground agonism and competition as foundamental and essential components of these contexts.
The student should possess the basic principles of General Pedagogy
The course will deep the fundamentals of sport pedagogy as a field of study related to the wider general pedagogy. More specifically the course will cover the following topics:
1. Body, Corporeality and education
2. Agonism and competition: between nature and culture
3. Sport, agonism and competition through the educational perspective
4. Competition as a comparison with the other from the perspective of "fair play"
5. Methodological tools and examples of best practices in sport and physical education
All contents will be analyzed with relational and participatory methodology in order to demonstrate as the study of the discipline is to investigate possibilities and limits of educational relationships, even in its variants of help relationships and counseling. Reflection on one's own and others ' experience will be of top priority to develop skills of analysis of oneself, of others and of the report itself.
