Industrial Risk Analysis
The course aims to provide the general criteria, tools and methodologies for the management and assessment of industrial risks. To this end, the course provides the necessary knowledge to the design and management of safety of industrial systems, considered as complex production systems. Particular emphasis is given to the industrial risk analysis to guarantee the safety of any system, especially in view of some significant trends.

Part I - Prevention in the workplace (8 hours - 1 CFU)
Legislative Decree 81/2008. The Workers' Statute and the legislation on compulsory insurance against accidents and occupational diseases.
Legislation relating to particular categories of work. The main technical standards UNI, CEI, etc. Roles and responsibilities in organizations: the
employer, the manager, the person in charge, the person in charge of prevention and protection, the competent doctor, the representative of the workers' safety. Designing the corporate organization for security purposes. Chapter II of Title I of Legislative Decree no. 81/2008. Safety Costs.
Part II - Risk Assessment (16 hours - 2 CFU)
Concepts of danger, risk, damage, prevention and protection. Precautionary principle: attention to pregnant workers, gender differences, age, origin from other countries and those related to the specific type of contract through which the work performance is rendered. Accident analysis: causes, occurrence methods, indicators, statistical analysis and trend over time, accident register. Methodologies and criteria for risk assessment. The classification of specific risks in relation to the relative health and safety regulations. Specific risk assessment techniques and incident / failure analysis: Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (FMECA), HAZard and OPerability analysis (HAZOP), etc; Plant maintenance and supplier management.
Part III - Risks in the workplace (16 hours - 2 CFU)
Specific Risks. Ergonomic risks. Chemical, carcinogenic and mutagenic agents, asbestos. Biological agents. Confined environments and / or suspected pollution, road activities. Risks related to the intake of drugs, psychotropic substances and alcohol. The risk assessment document and standardized procedures. Contents structure and organization of the risk assessment document.

Information, training and training of the subjects provided for in the legislative decree n. 81/2008. The company security consultation. The role of

The final exam consists of a written and oral test and is intended to

For the purposes of the evaluation, account is also taken of group
practice exercises during the semester, with particular emphasis on the
critical capacity with which the students addressed the proposed subject.
The professor is fluent in English and is available to interact with students
in English, also during the examination.
