Course description

The course aims at the knowledge of the principles of physiology of the endocrine system in sedentary vs athletic individuals. In particular, the achievement of the exam will allow the student to: - deepen the physiology, physiopathology and clinical modalities of hormone secretion and the relationships with physical and sporting activity - apply the knowledge gained in hormone secretion (knowledge and understanding skills applied); -evaluate the different endocrine pathologies related to physical and sporting activity (Autonomy of judgment); - acquire a scientific language appropriate to your professional environment and to correctly communicate your knowledge and skills to specialists and non-specialists in the field of motor and sporting sciences (Communication skills) - independently deepen the issues of greatest interest for your area professional, selecting the most accurate sources of information and the most appropriate methodologies (Ability to learn).

Prerequisites

Non-binding prerequisites are the basic concepts of the anatomy of the endocrine system, of biology, of biochemistry and of physiology of hormonal secretion.
