The last part of the course will be devoted to the analysis of the Italian regional dualism, of its determinants and to the role that the Mezzogiorno can play in the ecological transition. A particular focus

Beyond the book already cited above, additional teaching material will be provided during the course.

Determinants of economic development:
The course is articulated in frontal lessons and exercitations. During the lessons will be used slides to expose the main concepts and it will be used many examples from the real economy. We will organize also seminars held by operators and researchers in the field of Sustainable Development with the aim to offer a general view of the applicability of the concepts and the arguments treated during the course.

Supplementary materials will be provided during the course.
There will be two examinations: written and oral. The written part will consist in three short essays, while the oral part will consist in an exposition also with the help of slides of one of the argument treated during the course chosen by student.
The professor is able to teach in English, hence in case of foreign student who prefers English language, the professor could communicate with them in English, giving also indication for textbooks or slides in English, as well as explanations in topics treated during the course in English.
