Organization of educational and educational services
The course aims to provide students with theoretical concepts and a guideline in the design and definition of effective interventions related to educational and training services, both in the area of prevention of risk from social deviance, and within the area of social inclusion, also taking into account the role assumed by technologies and media education in general. In detail, the course aims to provide basic knowledge and tools aimed at understanding the world of educational and training services, looking at and analyzing the organizational and managerial implications useful for understanding the fundamental characteristics and methods of development and implementation of the same services.
It aims to forge skilled professional figures in the organization, in terms of design, development, implementation and evaluation of educational and training services in different fields, as they are equipped with knowledge and skills functional to play a role of leader, coordinator of targeted interventions, designer and coordinator of social services in educational and training terms.
In detail, it is proposed to pursue the following training objectives:
1) Knowledge and ability to understand.
The student must demonstrate that they have acquired a basic knowledge about: the main organizational theories that govern the organization of educational and training services; the key variables of organizational planning for educational and training services; decisions concerning the division of labor and coordination; the coordination and control mechanisms; organizational models relating to educational and training services; organizational analysis models at the micro, meso and macro level.
The student must demonstrate the ability to grasp the interconnections between the three perspectives of analysis (micro, meso and macro) of a single object of study: the organization of educational and training services and the coordination of the organizational actors involved, consistently with the topics illustrated and the stimuli provided during the course, seminars and exercises.
2) Ability to apply knowledge and understanding.
The student must be able to apply the notions learned to concrete cases and specific contexts, preferably current and related to the education and training sector, as well as to connected and/or related sectors, for example the Third Sector, demonstrating the now complete and acquired knowledge and understanding of the fundamentals illustrated. The exercises aim at developing and verifying these applicative skills.
3) Autonomy of judgment.
The student must be able to express his/her own point of view assuming positions argued according to a scientific logic and his/her own personal intuition, consonant and sustainable in relation to the topics covered by the course.
4) Communication skills.
The student must know how to express himself/herself with the properties of language and awareness of their emotional experiences that emerge from non-verbal language.
5) Learning skills.
The student must be able to distinguish the three levels of analysis (micro, meso and macro) and to build clear and comprehensive mental maps for each of these logical categories in relation to the individual concepts relating to the study of the organization of educational and training services, using the nomenclatures characteristic of the basic discipline.
The course offers a theoretical-practical itinerary on the models and tools of Business Organization and Human Resources Management to be applied to the field of educational and training services. The first part of the course is dedicated to the theoretical foundations of Business Organization and Human Resource Management in order to provide the principles and tools for designing educational and training services. This first part provides a conceptual and functional framework of the theme of educational and training services. The second part is dedicated to the design and implementation in the strict sense of educational and training services. The third part is dedicated to in-depth study, through seminars and group work with the development of project work, on the topics under study.

Conceptualization and categorization of educational and training services. Coordination and control mechanisms for educational and training services Resource management for educational and training services.
Lectures, seminar meetings to present concrete empirical cases and experiences with selected testimonials, exercises in the classroom, project work in the area of the organizational design of the educational and training services.

Written examination divided into four open five-point questions each, and a ten-point open question, related to the topics listed in the program. The written exam is expressed in thirtieths of vote (total written test score is 30).
Oral examination (for candidates who pass the test with a score of at least 18/30), that consists into questions that start from any gaps in the written examination, regards the topics in the program.
The assessment of the learning will be carried out by means of a written test and an oral test and it is proposed to evaluate the degree of knowledge of the basics and the fundamental topics of study of the teaching program, as well as the verification to verify the student's ability to apply the concepts acquired in reality above all in the social field. For example, we intend to evaluate the student’s ability to apply the fundamentals of organization, the design of educational and training services within organizations of the Third Sector (Terzo Settore) or at school or public institutions.
Written and oral examinations aim at verifying the level of learning of the principles, notions and topics listed in the program.
Such verification will be conducted on the basis of the following criteria: level of knowledge and deepening of the fundamental principles acquired; Language properties and clarity in oral test.

2. Objective of the test: verifying the level of student learning on fundamental aspects of the subject;
3. Methods of administration (written, oral, practical): written and oral examination
4. Timetable: according to the exam schedule
5. Duration: written test 1 hour; Oral test for about 10 to about 30 minutes
6. Type (e.g. written test, practical test, interview, etc ...): written test to open answers + oral examination;
7. Final Examination: The student will achieve the minimum score if he/she can demonstrate the acquisition of basic knowledge of the organization. The student will get the highest score when he/she demonstrates that he has understood, thoroughly and introjected all the topics listed in the program, also being able to grasp the interconnections between them and provide concrete application, examples in relation to their organizational and managerial implications.
