The course is divided into several teaching units:
- Unit I: European and international intellectual property (IP) law and main related contracts
- Unit II: rules at the basis of main advertising contracts and their clauses' analysis
- Unit III: Data protection regulations in Europe, United States and China (and other selected Countries)
- Unit IV: corporate governance systems (in Europe and around the world). The "societas europaea"
- Unit V: bankruptcy law in its different dimensions, by the analysis of the European Insolvency Regulation (EIR/R-EIR) and the UNCITRAL Model Law on Cross-Border Insolvency
The course continues with the following specific focus:
- the international contract;
- antitrust law;
- analysis of directive (EU) 2019/1023 on preventive restructuring frameworks, on discharge of debt and disqualifications, and on measures to increase the efficiency of procedures concerning restructuring, insolvency and discharge of debt;
- international ADR.
